Oper Hand advises businesses on financial strategy and operational efficiency. Their website said none of that.

It was slow, visually dated, and thin on content — the kind of site that makes a prospect question whether the firm is still active.

For a consulting business where credibility is the product, the site was actively working against them.

What was built.

performance

Site speed was the first priority. The mobile performance score went from 19 to 93 out of 100 — from the bottom of Google's scale to the top tier.

A score under 50 means visitors on mobile wait several seconds for the page to load. Most won't. A score of 93 means the site loads fast enough that speed is no longer a reason someone leaves.

content architecture

The blog was rebuilt as a Hub & Spoke architecture: a deliberate structure where a central pillar page links to related supporting content.

Stronger topical authority for search engines. A cleaner reading path for visitors. The kind of foundation that compounds.

custom tool

The standout addition was a custom Profit & Loss calculator, originally built for a conference presentation. It worked well enough on the day that it stayed.
